Senior year is probably the biggest stage you will run into lots of work that has to be turned in, projects, lots of money being wasted, and willing to put forward your full effort. Senior year is the last year of school before being exposed to the real world for whom you really are. I still remember the elementary day’s like if they were yesterday, damn how that sweat time fly’s by.
Two weeks into my senior year and i can already tell it will be one of the toughest years. The first week into school and i already had homework coming in. The work is hard i cant say its easy but if one sets their mind into it they can be successful and i guarantee it will be worth the sweat and tears. It's senior year and i'm trying to build memory and bonds with classmates, reason why is because it's the last year you attend school if you have yet not decided to attend a college you will always be remembered for your final year before becoming a young adult and facing the real world.
How i stand in school right now is probably not the best due to the fact that i am behind paste in some classes from years before. My major goal in life at this point will have to be graduating high school and being able to walk along with the rest of my classmates. I can already say it won't be an easy year. Starting senior year behind paste isn’t the best because at the end all you're thinking about is if you will finish in time.
Being an athlete at lhs can't be easy can say that. I am presently enrolled in the Lindsay high school varsity soccer team. Soccer is my passion and knowing that if you don't maintain a passing grade of at least four classes can tear your heart out. Currently believing that being a Lindsay high school athlete is more like a motivation because the whole year you try and keeping your grades high enough to make the cutt. Being an athlete at Lindsay high school plays a big role in my life at this point.
School isn't a game if you take it as a joke it will catch on later and i guarantee you will be regretting it. My career path in school right now is wood products and residential construction. As this may be my pathway at this point when i attend college id like to and study in being a correctional officer. Correctional officer is my life pathway, i say this because for one i'd be liking what i do for a living, second being a correctional officer opens up many other jobs, and third and least they get paid well.
Finally, this brings us to the point in life that i am living right now as a senior at lindsay high school. Just a small town guy with big dreams.
Elementary years were the best of the best oh how I miss my childhood years. Junior high was one heck of a ride but a very well experience and only lasted a year. High school has been one crazy and exhausting experience it gives me to many to handle, hasn’t been a pleasant ride. Senior year, oh my god toughest and most struggling year I have faced yet. School is one tough journey but it only helps you get ready for your adulthood.
Reminiscing my elementary years because they were most likely the best years of my lifetime so far. Elementary years were the best for many reasons. Reason number one is because it’s not as stressful as high school or junior high. Reason number two is because as a child there was less things you had to worry about like less chores at home and because basically everything was given to you.
Steve garvey was the name of the school i attended to one of my best years was seventh grade because it gave me a clear image of how high school would be like we would have dances, go in late, have many field trips, and best of all we were able to buy lunch.
Eighth grade turned the table on us, reason why was because the send all the previous seventh graders back to elementary school and made the school's k-8. Steve garvey was probably the best school in the valley and they took it away from us the school now is called “Reagan”. Jefferson elementary next to mcdonalds in lindsay california was where I attended my eighth grade year it was alright made many friends but yet it wasn’t all that. Jefferson wouldn't take us on many field trips, didn’t have dances, and to be honest with you i feel it didn’t really prepare us for high school.
Freshman at lindsay high scared of going to school with older kids. Most likely you're wondering why I was scared, reason why was because I had older relatives attending lindsay high and all i would here was how bad they treated incoming freshman. After i got to know the school and seen how it really is I loved it, it’s became like my second home. Here at lindsay high school we all are just like one big family and the school is our home, once you step in the school campus you feel safe and like if you're meant to be where you're at up to now.
Senior year here sitting down in english class typing this essay and just remembering all the struggles I go thru everyday to reach my goal and graduate with the rest of my classmates. Two thousand and sixteen is the year i'm destined to graduate if I reach my goal. Senior year is perhaps the toughest year i've faced yet. Facing this tough year, but how every teacher says "It only prepares you for the future". What may I say, college here I come.
Wondering if I will make it on time is a question I ask myself every morning and night. Running out of time like if I was running out of oxygen. The question is if I will make it on time to graduate with the rest of my classmates. Thinking of this day after day gets to me especially thinking about not being able to graduate after ordering a cap and gown already. Staying after school three to five days after school to make up work that I haven’t done in the previous years.
Really looking forward to my senior year is to make more friends and get closer to other students. Something else i'm really looking forward to is joining many sports because I know that this will be the best way to get closer to classmates, parents, coaches, and the community. Getting closer to students and people will help after school a lot in that maybe they can help you find jobs and many things you don't know entering your adulthood. This is something i'm really looking forward to my senior year.
Goals are always set to everyone, mine recently are to hopefully graduate with the rest of my classmates. Twenty six teen is the year i'm determined to graduate if I complete all the requirements needed to graduate. Everyday I feel like it's the biggest goal i've faced yet. Could possibly be the biggest challenge I have faced yet but absolutely nothing is impossible and I always reach my goals. Feeling everyday like if graduation day is basically around the corner and like if life is ending.
Senior year what can you say it's practically like the final chapter to your teenage life. Senior year has been great so far, reason why I say this is because i've passed more classes than I ever possibly thought. It's been the toughest year i've faced yet but I also know it won’t be the last. Feeling really satisfied where I am at right now at this point because it feels like as if i'm only days away from graduation day. Senior year you've been one heck of a crazy ride.
Planning on attending a two year college after high school. Really looking forward to major into automotive engineering. It has been said that if you do something you really enjoy doing you will never work a day and that's why I am really interested majoring in this career. After attending my two years at a community college I plan on going to a four year university and continue my career from there. Some colleges and universities i've been really looking to are Cos, Pc, Fresno State, and Bakersfield college.
Something I see myself doing for a living after school is being an automotive engineer or a barber. My number one option is to be the automotive engineer, being a barber is just a back up career incase the other one dont work out so well. Definitely will be majoring into one of these careers after high school. Looking forward to do something I enjoy doing instead of actually working.
Some of my most memorable moments have been during the soccer season with the rest of my friends. Soccer season left many good moments when it comes to bonding with other students because it never feels like you're around other students, it feels more like if you were to be bonding with family and that’s what the soccer team is one great big family. One of the most memorable moment was when we won our first playoff game we didn't have a cooler with cold water to wet the coach with so most of us used the spare water that was left in our water bottles. This will be the most memorable moment because it was worth seeing the look in his face.
I anticipate that for the rest three months of school that everything goes as planned and i'm able to graduate with the rest of my classmates. Something else that I want these last three months to be like are fun and memorable. Looking forward to this because every memory is worth it after high school, i'm always hearing graduates from before always saying how they miss school and wish they were back here with the rest of there friends. For these last three months best believe I will be out there making memorable moments, bonding with friends and participating in school activities.
